Authors Note: Now I am going to try to make all my posts about 3d printing because it has helped me progress so much as a writer and it is fun to write for me.
In Brooklyn, New York, there are people at Makerbot Industries that are creating amazing machines that can produce 3D objects. It is called the Makerbot Replicator, and this printer can replicate anything. It uses FDM or fused deposition modeling to build up layers of plastic to build a model.
The original Makerbot started sending kits in 2009 and in 2010 the released the Thing-O-Matic. Then next was the Makerbot replicator in 2012. Eventually today they have the replicator 5th Generation.
There is also a 3D design website called Thingiverse. This allows people to post and download 3D designs for a 3D printer and print them for free. There have been problems though with ebay sellers selling them against the Creative Commons License which is not supposed to be done.
Overall, the company Makerbot Industries, to me is a reliable company with reliable products and I have heard have great customer support. Therefore I recommend them.
Be sure to work in a fully developed paragraph where you can really unleash all you know about the topic in some detail. Here there is structure, but not a lot of information delivered. 2.5
