3D Printed DNA

Just starting this article I have now seen how close we are to being able to 3D print real DNA and tissue. Infact so close that they are already printing sets of DNA. There are a couple problems though. The main problem is expense. It can cost over 2 billion dollars to print a set of human genome. This is one of the reasons that this process is so hard to do.

Another reason that this is so hard to do is that it is not a very successful process. A large amount of the printed DNA is useless because it is either defective or not accurate enough to be able to be used. The cool thing is they can print over 100 of them in a second so it is not such a bad thing.
